Applying Quick Dip for Well-Nourished Flowers
Our passion is flowers and we are dedicated to delivering the freshest and longest lasting flowers to every customer. We ensure that all of our flowers are fresh, in great condition and last as long as possible. One of the ways we do so is by using a “Quick Dip” treatment process. All our flowers receive this extra step for longer-lasting freshness not once, but twice – the first time is when we receive our flowers from the farms and are processing them to remove thorns and foliage that will be below the water line. Foliage that is below the waterline creates bacteria that will kill the flowers very quickly, therefore processing the flowers and giving them a fresh cut on the ends and then dipping them in Quick Dip ensures that they will remain fresh and hydrated for as long as possible. The second time they receive this special treatment is when we are cutting them to put them into a designed arrangement.
Quick Dip is a product we apply to the flowers to instantly hydrate them. This treatment helps the flowers to maximize the uptake of the nutrient solution, i.e., the flower food. This Quick Dip treatment helps to maintain the quality of the stems by ensuring that water and nutrients flow freely through the stems. We ensure that every single variety of flowers that we sell receives this special treatment every time they are cut. Although we use Quick Dip on every single stem, Gerbera Daisies, Roses, Hydrangea and Stock are the flowers most prone to stem problems without the Quick Dip treatment. This treatment prevents droopy stems and bent neck in these sensitive varieties.
This extra step is a testament to our commitment of providing only the longest lasting and freshest flowers available on the market. Quick Dip helps ensure that each stem is full-bodied, healthy and upright. Hence, each of the flowers are held upright and stay vibrant. The healthy stems will display the blooms proudly in the most attractive way in all of Fiesta Flowers Plants and Gifts floral arrangements for all occasions.
